Background

In 2004, CircleLending was the first P2P Lending Company. The challenge was no one knew what P2P Lending was, and educating the masses is expensive.

Goal

Establish credibility by associating our brand with trustworthy financial services institutions.

Tactic

Create guides to P2P lending to be distributed by companies like Microsoft Money, Financial Planning companies, Govt SMB Authorities.

Result

We gave our partners a a viable option to bring to their clients, resulting in dramatic scale and eventual sale to Virgin Money USA.

We had a solution for millions of consumers in need of a loan. Our P2P Lending Solution was revolutionary. 

Our Problem: The solution was new and no one knew who we were, 

The Solution: Channel Partnerships with Financial Software Publishers, Small Business Authorities and Financial Consultants.

Investment: The cost of printing co-branded brochures.

• Self sustaining channel partners who recognized our sale was a good fit for their clients, and therefore good for our clients businesses

• We were soon sold and rebranded as Virgin Money USA
